A heartfelt Calling

Across cultures and continents, everyone on this planet shares something that they long for no matter where they go: comfort food.

It’s its own category.

Comfort food is what strikes your soul, speaks to your heart, and reminds you of happy memories.

Beef/beef tendon noodle is my comfort food.

It looks just like a classic bowl of beef/tendon noodle with a semi-transparent burgundy soup base, chunks of beef and beef tendons floating, Bok Choy dancing with the noodle.

Smells amazing, fragrant of the five-spice spreading in the air.

That signals a good soup base.

Indeed it is. With the spices warming up your body. slightly spicy and opens up your appetite. Perfect for winter.

The beef and tendons were so tender I wish I can have them every day.

It just melts in your mouth like a fluffy cloud, which tells me how much efforts the chef has put in to prepare and slow cook the protein. Needless to say, the noodles were springy as well.

10/10 Gotta go revisit next time :)

Highly recommend!
